on my evolution, send/receive button inactive. how to activate again? because i need to check email

I wonder, can you tell me if at the bottom left of the Evolution window you see an icon that looks like a plug? If there is an "X" in between the two ends of the plug, you are set to work offline, and the "Send/Receive" button will be deactivated.

If this is the case, then all you may have to do is click on this icon to once again work in the online mode. This should reactivate your "Send/Receive" button assuming you are actually connected to your internet service provider.
