request Ubuntu 8.1 x64 cd

Asked by 81238283

I want request a cd of Ubuntu 8.1 x64, but when I am in the page to do the request, I can't say what version I want, I can only request 32 bit edition. In older Ubuntu versions was possible to do it...
How can I request a x64 cd? Or now can't?

I download the x64 version of Ubuntu 8.1 when it was still in beta, and of course, I downloaded it again when the final version was launched, but I'd like a cd xD.
So now can't request that version. but yes in the future, when they have it, no?

There is still no way to request 64 bit Desktop CDs on the Shipit site - these used to be available (I received 7.10 64 bit CDs) and it is unacceptable to tell people to download as not everyone has high-speed Internet on this planet (or the download quota to do this sort of thing).

Not having 64 bit CDs for shipping does not make any sense, and discriminates against the Ubuntu ethos of being available to all.

What would be nice is if they shipped a DVD containing a 32-Bit, 64-Bit Ubuntu, Kubuntu, and Xubuntu since that would all probably fit on 1-DVD.

Can you help with this problem?
