Desktop Background

Asked by peter

Hello

I've a question.

Please, have a look at the page: http://www.howtoforge.com/how-to-install-openoffice-3.0.0-on-ubuntu-8.04

After the hint "After the download has finished, open a terminal (Applications > Accessories > Terminal)." a desktop with a backgound is shown. This backgound looks like a big bird.

Do you know, where I can find this background in the internet? Thanks a lot.
Peter

This is the desktop background that came by default on Ubuntu 8.04 (Hardy Heron), you can find it at:
http://packages.ubuntu.com/hardy/gnome/ubuntu-artwork
and download the ubuntu-wallpapers package, uncompress and enjoy it.
Hope this helps, let me know.

Hi Ariel

Thanks for the hint.

But: If I click "Ubuntu-wallpapers" I can click one link "all". And then I will get about 100 backgrounds. Which one is it? Thanks.

Hi Ariel

I got it. These are not backgrounds, these are servers.
I'm going to try it. Thanks.
