Acer AspireOne 150

Asked by Alex

After I successfully installed Ubuntu 8.10 on my AcerAspireOne 150 runnung on Windows XP, I could use it perferfectly. I can use XP or Ubuntu any one I liked to useat that time. I used it a couple of days without any problem at all. As I also have a desktop I did not use this UMPC for a couple of day. About half an hour ago I wanted to use my UMPC, but much to my unpleasant surprise, it does not do anything anymore. Whatever I am doing there is ni screen coming up so I can't do anything a all. I treid to reboot from a CD ROM:nothing. I tried toi reboot from a bootable USB stick:nothing! Anybody any idea what is wrong? And if so, does anybody have a solution for me? My first thought is that one way or the other the harddisk is "fucked up"!
