video upgrade

Have an Everex TC2502 Green gPC w/Via C7-D Processor. Want to upgrade video that is on the machine. Does anyone know what kind/make of video card would be supported on this machine running Ubuntu 8.10? Thanks.

Your computer has no AGP port, just two PCI slots, so your only choice is a PCI video card. Any card with an nVidia or ATI chipset should work.

But first verify that your BIOS supports disabling the onboard video or the PCI video card may not work.
