Wireless uses - - how?

 My Toshiba Laptop is formatted to use UBUNTU and the wireless Mouse, speakers & keyboard
 I bought aren't recognized. Is their a way to overcome this, or should I just use "wired" products?

s 1.1 all of the way up

 I am not a programmer at all, but I followed Dos 1.1 all of the way up and now I am back in the elementary stages
of not knowing jack. Help, Please?

I Have wireless keyboard & mouse with no problems, is the receiver working ie have lights coming on, Have you tried the connect buttons on the receiver and keyboard/mouse.
My set is Logitech and have use several models with Ubuntu, all through SP2 ports, I have had problems using USB units but only in Windows not Ubuntu, but did not try Ubuntu on that PC, (Friend's PC)
sorry I am not much help but sometimes the simple things are easy to over look.
