How are the Fujitsu Micro Tablet Laptops with Ubuntu?

Asked by Ri$e*Above

Hi,

I' am thinking of buying a Fujitsu Micro Tablet Laptop to run Ubuntu 8.10 Desktop i-386, and i was wondering if anybody has had any experience doing this? Are there any known issues with incompatability, and/or a lack of functions?

I was thinking mainly about the Fujitsu Lifebook U810/U1010 and the Fujitsu Lifebook P1510.

Many thanks in advance :-)

9.04 is a beta version and it would be great if you could file bug-reports on any problems you encounter with it so that the proper release is better

Did the latest stable version 8.10 work? How about 8.04, the last stable release with Long Term Support - did either of them have the same troubles as the beta on your machine?

Can you help with this problem?
