22.04 installation does not detect my video card

With my upgrade to 22.04, the system does not detect my nvidia GForce 8400 GS video card - it works on a try Ubuntu 20.04 DVD, but the upgrade does not detect the video card. I get no GUI unless I boot into recovery mode, then it is limited to 640 x 480.

lspci sees the videl card ,but ubuntu-drivers devices does not.

Suggestions?
