OO3.1: Can't open an Email server file

Hi

When I try to open a file directly with OO 3.1 in my mail server (gmx.net), I always get the following message:

/tmp/Bewerbung, Deutsch-1.doc could not be opened, because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences.

What can I do to prevent this? Thanks.

What is OO 3.1?
Isn't it that "because the associated helper application does not exist. Change the association in your preferences." you didn't installed German language support?

OO3.1 is OpenOffice.org 3.1 And I don't understand the rest of your meaning.

Peter,
may be I'm wrong but the rest of my meaning is did you have installed on your Desktop the German language (support)? It seems to me that this is the first that you have to do. If you have the language support for Deutsch installed correctly then the issue is under question.
This "Change the association in your preferences." looks to me like you haven't install something in languages. That's "Bewerbung" I think.

Hi Vhar

The German language is installed. I can make a Hyphenation, I've a Thesaurus, every thing works fine. Thanks.
