Buffer I/O error on device FD0, Logical Block 0
Recently did a fresh install of Kubuntu 7.04 from live CD.
Everything seems to be up and running OK, yet I am somewhat curious.....
I received an error message during installation, while CD was loading and preparing to install OS.
The messages:
178.980000 Buffer I/O error on device FD0, Logical Block 0
212.896000 Buffer I/O error on device FD0, Logical Block 0
What do they mean?
Cesare, you out there?
I do not have a floppy reader nor a bay to insert one, unless of course, I pulled out my CD/DVD and replaced with one.
I am not sure how to get into the BIOS to disable?
Note: During installation I had in the pci slots a Broadcom 4318 wireless card and a Sony Memory Stick/PC card adaptor
Thought i would include that...not sure if in preparing the installation if OS might not llike that????
Thanks guys
