i cannot create new folders and file's

hi..I cannot create new folders and file's in my partition's...
but i can create them in home folder..
is there anyway to solve this?

This behavior is by design, for security. Your user account should
never be able to write all over the system, to do so uses root. If
you're looking for a place to put your files, they should always be in
your home directory.

ok..but i use two partition..one for my media and the other for my works..
so what m i gonna do? can u help me..

i'hv figured it out with a friend..what you have to do is go to terminal n change the owner(chown) of the disk(partition)
