Blank Windows and Menus in ubuntu 8.04 hardy

I m continuously getting blank windows and menus ..
changing resolution didnt help me
changing x-config didnt help me..

Maybe you should update your Ubuntu to the latest version (9.04) available and test again. The graphic card driver in that version would be the newest one.
