AMD Phenom(tm) 9650 Quad-Core Processor

Asked by Tocohead

I'm thinking very strongly of switching to Ubuntu from windows vista. My computer meets everything required, but my processor is a AMD Phenom(tm) 9650 Quad-Core Processor 2.30 GHz, 8GB RAM, 64-bit. and want to know if there would be any problems installing this OS?. Also I have a Bamboo pen PC pad, will it work on this OS? and last I wanted to know if my HP Photosmart C5280 All-in-One would work in this OS too? I would not ask but I looked up the devices and did not see any of these. thanks

No quad core works fine.
I dont know about the bamboo pc pad but id guess it would work too.
HP printers all work fine the drivers are made by HP themselves so most will work without much effort.
The best way to find out if everything works fine is to try out the live CD.
Download ubuntu here http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu and try it out.
If you have any problems you can come back here or most of the time google will point you to the answer.

Shane
