a) you can made the cd by yourself as we usually do... if you have a cdrom rw

Here all torrents downloads official links http://torrent.ubuntu.com:6969/

b) you can request the ubuntu desktop cd for free from https://shipit.ubuntu.com/

if you need info on how to make a good Ubuntu cd rom please ask here in this thread

You might need to create an account to use the form. Once you have that set up, you can visit:
https://shipit.ubuntu.com/myrequest

Another option is to try to find another Ubuntu user in your town/city, and see if they have the CD that you can use.

Also, you might be lucky and have an active Ubuntu LoCo in your town/city. If you do, it's usually easy to get a CD from one of the members. Check https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LoCoTeamList to see if there is one near you. You might be able to email the closest LoCo and ask for help.

Another option is a bookstore that might have a Linux magazine or book with a CD in it.

Finally, some public libraries have begun to acquire Ubuntu CD's and books.

Good luck and I hope this helps with your search!

Open this page in a new TAB, then enable javascript and cookies for
