Karmic installation doesn't finish

Karmic koala daily builds 2009-10-07 and 2009-10-06 won't install. Both of them go to 80% and no further ("Configuring apt"). CPU is 100%.

I'll try to install usual beta asap. Let's see what then happens.

By the way, I'm using USB memory card to install ubuntu.

Experiencing the same problem here.

Installing from a 4GB USB Stick
Installation setup is standard with full use of Hard Drive and 5.7GB Swap.
Installation Freezes at 80%, GUI Text Window reads 'Installing APT'

At the moment, the amd64 beta doesn't install properly from the CD for me as well. Not sure if this is related. Try installing Jaunty then dist-upgrading, that's what I did.
