Non si sente piu l'audio

Salve, ho una Ubuntu 8.04 e da qualche giorno non mi funziona più l'audio. Se provo a fare un test mi compare il seguente messaggio d'errore:

audiotestsrc wave=sine freq=512 ! audioconvert ! audioresample ! gconfaudiosink: Failed to connect stream: Invalid argument

Potete aiutarmi? Grazie ciao

non ne sono sicuro , prova a resettare le impostazioni alsa con questo comando:

sudo /etc/init.d/alsa-utils reset
