can't add skins to amsn

I have down loaded some skins for amsn, but I tryed it put them into the folder that they say to but ubuntu wont let me, I think it is something to do will root how do I change it?

Hello Neil again

If you go in to your home folder there will be a hidden folder (press ctrl + H to view them) called .amsn and inside is a folder called skins.

extract the file you downloaded in to that folder.

If you are not able to do it then enter the command in a terminal

gksu nautilus

and this will start nautilus as root and extract the file you downloaded in to that folder.

He he lol... Glad to here its fixed... My knowledge is just 1% as I am a beginner... :) still a long way to go till it reaches 100% mate.... So still in installation mode and its moving slow....:)
