how to edit before uploading???

I have experienceed serveral crashs on ntfs-3g.

But I do not want to uploade before editing the report due to private data.

How can I do this?

The window opened by apport in 12.10 dies not allow editing (was possible earlier)?

The text could possibly be stored in /var somewhere
