Trivial bug in man documentation: forgotten --strip-unneeded option in objcopy SYNOPSIS

Asked by johnson

From the man page of"objcopy" That the"--strip-unneeded" Alternative:
Binutils: Installed: 2.26.1-1ubuntu1~16.04.3 Candidate: 2.26.1-1ubuntu1~16.04.3 Model table: *** 2.26.1-1ubuntu1~16.04.3 500 500 http://ua.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial-updates/main amd64 Package 500 http://security.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial-security/main amd64 Package 100 /var/lib/dpkg/standing 2.26-8ubuntu2 500 500 http://ua.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu xenial/main amd64 Packages

I anticipated SYNOPSIS and OPTIONS segments of this individual page of"objcopy" to be persistent.
- is explained in OPTIONS section;- however is abandoned in SYNOPSIS section (do not confuse with"--strip-unneeded-symbol=" and"--strip-unneeded-symbols=", that are not forgotten).

$ apt-cache coverage binutils
Choice"--strip-unneeded" within OPTIONS section, is absent in SYNOPSIS section.
Description: Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTSRelease: 16.04
