Hello,

After installing Cheese the webcam should work but you need to set the camera in Skype as well.

Allan :)

Because skype is garbage and doesn't quite work with the OS properly without some effort. Skype is a godawful test if a webcam works and it throws up tonnes of false negatives. When people use decent apps (like cheese) it magically works.

Can you give the output of:

uname -a; lsb_release -a; dpkg -l | grep -i skype

Thanks

Hello,

You have to set the web camera in the Skype settings.
