restore previous settings or reset compiz settings to default

i'm not getting the "dash " ... how to restore it ... i changed some setting in "compiz config editor" for trying ... after this it happened .... i don't know how to restore it

Try to do this:
1. Login and open a terminal by hitting CTRL + ALT + T (if not work login with Unity 2D)
2. Insert and run this command:
sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager

3. Now in the terminal run:
ccsm

4. In the new window enable the plugin called "Ubuntu Unity Plugin"
5. Restart. (If you have selected Unity 2D at the 1 step, come back to Unity 3D)

wen i typed "sudo apt-get install compizconfig-settings-manager" .... it displayed "E:invalid operation compizconfig-settings-manager"

i installed compiz from softwarecenter ... and then ran ccsm command ... now its prafectly alright ...
