After Resetting Compiz i.e "Restore to Default" everything went off.

Asked by Hardik Chouhan

In compiz i went to "preferences-> "restore to default" & thus everything went off. I do restarted several times But I can only see the Top bar with "File, Edit,View,History, etc" This only happens in my "administrator account" on the other hand "guest account is working fine."
While i was seraching for a solution in ubuntu forum, i read this command & ran it with terminal of my GUEST account. The command was

                           " gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compiz-1

                              unity --reset"

While executing this from Guest account Terminal it asked me to report a bug. Hence the report.
Please help me out. I m very new to Ubuntu.

During resets compiz regular crashes and requests bug reports, just ignore them close the window and proceed.
Open ccsm in guest session and enable the Unity plugin, then log back in to Unity session.

In case also reset compiz profiles.
Please open a terminal: ctrl+alt+t
or work in a virtual console (text mode only): ctrl+alt+f1

gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compiz-1
gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/compizconfig-1
unity --reset
sudo reboot

or try this in a terminal after a crash, this should enable Unity too:
compiz --replace

if Unity still doesn't appear:
unity --replace
