Focus follow mouse and desktop icon renaming

I am using Ubuntu 12.04 with "Focus follow mouse" enabled (using ccsm).
The problem is that when moving the mouse out to the desktop, i.e. leaving a window, the last used window is still in focus and if trying to rename a desktop icon the new name goes into the last used window.

Please search bug reports, there're some about focus issues (unity and compiz source). In case report a new one with a reproducable description.
Please note focus follows mouse isn't supported. bug 674138
