Linux Mint Cinnamon

I have tried to download Linux Mint Cinnamon to my Mac and then burn an installation disk. When try to install it I get a message that reads as follows: "Reboot and select proper boot device or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key." I put an Ubuntu 11.04 installation disk and re-booted and it brought up the installation screen just fine... so I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Does anyone have any ideas?

Mint isn't supported in any of the Ubuntu support channels. It has it's own support network and community. I suggest you post on the Mint forum which is here:
http://forums.linuxmint.com
