How can I re-enable compositing?
Asked by
Amr Hassan
I installed jaunty today and everything was going fine, until I installed some updates. After reboot my compositing is gone. Gnome-Do displays this message "Your display is not properly configured for theme and animation support. To use these features, you must enable compositing."
I can't also re-enable compiz effects. It was all working fine out-of-the-box before the update.
I think some of the updates were compiz-related. How can I enable compositing back?
I'm on a Dell Inspiron 1525.
Thanks.
