What is CVE-2018-10000?

Asked by Matt

Our clair analysis (https://coreos.com/clair) for our base images that we build keeps flagging a CVE page on Canonical with the CVE ID 2017-10000 (https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-security/cve/2018/CVE-2018-10000.html). This doesn't seem to be a valid CVE ID, and the page appears to cover the security bug that's covered by the more descriptive version over at https://people.canonical.com/~ubuntu-security/cve/2018/CVE-2018-1000001.html. Is it possible to remove the issue/revision listed here, as it appears to be flagging a false positive in clair?

I suggest that you try contacting someone of the Ubuntu security team https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-security
They are maintaining the CVE tracker.

Can you help with this problem?
