network error when creating new gtalk / facebook account

Binary package hint: empathy

I installed 10.04 beta1 and updated it to latest releases. When i try to login to gtalk using empathy, i'm getting network error. i'm supposed to login to gtalk and start using empathy.

It seems that I had not entered complete mail id for gtalk account. Now i'm able to login with empathy. But i still have network error with facebook account.

Will it be possible to have less cryptic error messages for empathy? :)

This isn't a question, this is actually a feature request with telepathy-gabble. Please check the bug for further updates
