How to change codec prefs for Empathy VoIP?

Hi there,

I am using Empathy on Ubuntu 8.10. I have looked everywhere, and I can't figure out how to set the codec preference order or even see which are available for VoIP calls. Any tips? I want to give preference to low bandwidth codecs in the Speex family, but also try others if they are available.

Empathy has no support for selecting codec priority.

To some extent, you can get around this limitation by directly editing /etc/farsight/gstcodecs.conf.

Can you help with this problem?
