Upgrading to Ubuntu LTS

I don't know if this is the appropriate place to post this query, however...

I installed the pre LTS version of Ubuntu using the wubi installer from Windows. Will it have automatically upgraded itself to the LTS version? It did seem to download and install a lot of updates around the time the LTS version was issued.

Yes, there is no special "upgrade" between beta and RC versions and final release -- system is "upgraded" via Update Manager (with normal software updates).

i tried upgrading to LTS.during the installation it failed in the downloading of the software part of the installation.It said please retry but i dont know how to get it goin again.
