stop asking if i want to restore last session

every time i start firefox it asks me if i want to restore the last session or start a new one how can i just make it start a new on by itself

Close Firefox with multiple tabs open.
Then it asks you whether you want to "Save and Quit" or "Quit".
Choose "do not ask next time" check box and hit the "Quit" button.

Voila!

if above doesn't work: firefox only says that when you don't quit the browser properly. It's supposed to only display that message after a crash.

Helllo,

In FF, visit URL about:config

Then look for a variable named browser.sessionstore.enabled and set it to false !

thanks for the help but when i tried your suggestion it wouldnt do that this time so i spent more time on it by myself from the help and fixed it but thank you for you help

that gave me a good idea i was closing it improperly alot of the time it was always freezing on me
