lost bar to type in urls

I lost the bar to type in web addresses.
I also would like to completely LOSE Yahoo...the toolbar, the homepage...can't remember how to get rid of them

In Firefox:
View > Toolbars > Tick Navigation Toolbar
View > Toolbars > Untick Yahoo Toolbar

To set the homepage, Edit > Preferences > "Main" section.
