please help me trying to install adobe flash player 10.0.42.34, on linusubuntu 8.04

the choices i get are yum for llinux,targz for linus,rpm for linux,or .deb for ubuntu 8.04

go to adobe here
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
on the box for select version select the deb ubuntu 8.04+ and download and save to desktop
once you have it downloaded double click on it and it will install.
should fix your problem
