new older person anwser for dummies please. how can i get ultimate bet to down load and work/

I am running older computer windows 2000. I do not know FF have all ways used IE. IE is not installed and I am trying to download ultimate bet.(poker site) It downloads but I can not open it to run.? For that matter i can not open any down loads. I saw something about add on to trick web sites to think FF is IE added that nothing. Please help frustrated and want to play poker.LOL

If all else fails you could use a virtualbox with win2000 in seamless mode but its a bloat in ram (running windows under ubuntu). Look into wine for the app, it may be supported.
