adobi flash for 64b / 8.10 not available for download

Asked by bruce

Sometimes the flash files won't play and I get prompted to install newest adobi flash player. go to adobi and can't find version for 64 bit arc.
Any idea what to do? Did the whole multimedia thing and have all current updates.
This only occurs on some sites, Sorry I don't have a example web site at this time.
Thanks, Bruce,

Thank you for taking the time to report this issue and helping to make Ubuntu better. Examining the information you have given us, this does not appear to be a bug report so we are closing it and converting it to a question in the support tracker. We appreciate the difficulties you are facing, but it would make more sense to raise problems you are having in the support tracker at https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu if you are uncertain if they are bugs. How to install flash

Open a Terminal from the menu Applications → Accessories → Terminal and type:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

sudo apt-get install flashplugin-nonfree

sudo apt-get clean

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

Hope this helps
