Zoom or bigger font

Asked by Nicholas Schwartz

How do Zoom-in and -out to get larger text size with gedit. My eyes are not as strong as they once were. With other applications this is done by options under the "view" pulldown menu, and with the key combination Ctl +.

I tried opening gedit from a terminal window for which I had already expanded the font size; but it had no effect.

In gedit: edit -> preferences -> font & colors
There you can give your own font ando or size.

Much fun and greetings.

go to system>preferences>appearance>font
and select the font size you want and type of your favorite font, that should help you out
