server not found

firefox works on hard wire but not wireless. the network connections clame that I am connected to the router and I get the goole home page, but that is as good as it gets.

Can you give the output of:

sudo lshw -C network; lsb_release -a

When you are connected to the wireless.

I did the gksudo gedit /ect/resolv.conf command and it worked.

Then you need to make the change permanent by adding the setting in network manager so the setting stands between reboots
