hey go to network settings and click on mobile broadband after connecting the device. you have to follow on screen instructions about the country and operator, data plan etc...... these are subject to the recognition of the device by the OS. some usb modems are fully supported while some are not at all recognized.

if your operator is not in the list, select the second option which
says that your operator is not listed. specify the name manually and
select "gprs/edge/hsdpa" option. when prompted to specify apn, just
type the type of service. for example, for Vodafone, the apn will be
"vodafone live"....try this and reply.

Can you help with this problem?
