I have deleted panel by mistake. How to restore...?

i have deleted the panel which was located at the top of screen by mistake.i m very new to ubuntu.nw i m facing problem to open any aaplication....plz tell me how to restore that pannel...

Hi

Running these two commands in a terminal should get it back for you. To get a terminal open without your panels, press ALT+F2 and type gnome-terminal in the box, then click run.

then try (1 line at a time) in the terminal

gconftool-2 --recursive-unset /apps/panel
killall gnome-panel

if it doesn't come straight back (it should just reappear) try rebooting after.
you will have to put back all the icons etc as it will be default.
