this is the first time I got on line oyt of 4 Liniux vershions

I tryed t down load some free plugins and the system crashed , now when I get notes of updates, I get some worning that some thing is open and I dont know how to close it .[ps] I cant use the mother bord disk and dont know were to go to get what I need, I looked at the ECS ELITEGRUPE site for Linux and found nothing. [ppss] how do you run scan disk, chkdsk on my xp pro, or defrag? mb 741GX-M,,,, [bios] 10f 08/31/2004

Face it Linux is for pro , and kill Bill windows is for dumb ass, evon if you can partishon a drive and more.Keep trying.I have tryed 4 or 5 linux and yours is the first I got on line with.
