How to initialize USB Hub after suspend

I've a Sound Blaster 24 live external, when I supend my Ubuntu 9.04, the power led of the card switch off, the only way to make it work is to replug after resume?

There is a command line to restart the usb hubs, like when the system load drivers?

try:

sudo rmmod usb_storage; sleep 3; sudo modprobe usb_storage
