Hi ,

screen-saver is pre-installed in Ubuntu . Is gnome-screensaver , you can see it by
apt-cache policy gnome-screensaver , in terminal .

Now the bad news. Not working. Just a blank(or black) screen. Nothing else. Forget about the screen savers in 10.04.

If you want to use a screen saver with themes , then go for xscreensaver.

Take a look here : http://www.liberiangeek.net/2011/10/enable-screensavers-in-ubuntu-11-10-oneiric-ocelot/

mark the question a solved.. and ... Peace ! :-)

Thanks
