my dc ++ is not working

i m not able to download any thing........................
but other can download from my computer in dc ++.........................
so please help me....

Are you able to install and run DC++? Are you able to connect to hubs? Are you unable to download anything ever, or just under certain conditions / with certain hubs/users? Have you made sure that port forwarding is set up correctly for the Ubuntu machine (perhaps it is configured for the other machine, but not the Ubuntu machine)? What instructions did you follow to install DC++? (If you did not install it based on any online instructions, then please just describe what you did to install it.)
