Are you using Ubuntu 7.10...?
Have already tried the default compiz-fusion... on your pc... ?

I have Ubuntu 7.10 and i have Compiz, but i want to use the themes beryl has.

The .emerald themes

Simply install it...
Please open a Terminal from the menu Applications->Accessories->Terminal and type:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install emerald compizconfig-settings-manager compiz-extra-gnome

give your user password when requested, you don't see nothing when you type it, then press enter.

alright....now what do i do?

How can i install the themes? How can i excess the menu of beryl?

System->Preference->Appearance...

Please be sure emerald is installed repeat this command:

sudo apt-get install emerald compizconfig-settings-manager

When i download it and try to install it through System->Preference->Appearance it does not show up as a theme package so i click all files and it says "The file format is invalid"

What do i do?
