How to change themes in ubuntu 11.10?

This latest version of ubuntu sucks. In ubuntu 11.04 I could mix themes and create a custom one. When I upgraded, I losted my themes, and I cant even add new prebuilt ones. How do I teak this in ubuntu 11.10? And how do I go back to ubuntu 11.04? Either case is fine for me

It's impossible to downgrade. If you want ubuntu 11.04 back, you have just to reinstall it.

Even tough I m still unable to change themes, I was able to donwload 10.4 and Im on my way to upgrading to 11.4, wich is the version I plan to keep.

For some reason, I can use the theme I want to, when I try to move it to usr-shared-themes, I get an error code.

Either way, I am closing this thread, as I was able to go back to 11.4. I will later try to see whats wrong with the theme, neeed to sleep now
