apt-cache search chess

I think that gnuchess plays a pretty good game, and craft is described as "state-of-the-art"

Hi Andy

Thanks for your answer. But what does it mean "apt-cache"? It's a linux command. How can I use it?

Thanks.

Use "man apt-cache" to get information about this command.

apt-cache is used to get information about packages, the information is stored (cached) locally so you don't need to go out on the net. It's probably the most useful command when determining if there's a package that'll fit your needs.
