Uninstall GRUB
Asked by
bosse
A computer with two harddisks. Windows XP on one. Installed ubuntu on the other one. Now I want to format the ubuntu-disk and once again use it with windows. After formatting the disk I am unable to start the computer because GRUB gives an errormessage (nr 22) and stops the boot-sequnence. Apparently looking for the ubuntu-disk.
To use the computer at all I have to reinstall ubuntu.
How do I get rid of GRUB? I. e. uninstall it? I have searched the internet for info about how to handle GRUB. Found a lot, but nothing about how to uninstall it.
