Frozen screen after trying to install Ubuntu 11.04 onmu desktop

I attempted to install 11.04 (64bit0 on my desktop computer and during the setup it froze and went black. I tried to reboot win 7 but I don't even get a startup screen it just stays black,, I am a newbie to Linux and I did something wrong. Help
