why don't I recieve karma points when uploading .po files directly?

Hi,

I just wanted to know why my karma does not increase when I upload a .po file instead of translating it on the webpage.

I do believe it has to do with a different project outside of Ubuntu and Launchpad

I have noticed that the server takes a while to tally combined score, weekly; monthly.

Hi,
thanks again for your answers.
I just received about 3000 karma points after about five days of regular uploads (about 80-90 items each time) (assuming these karma points are as reward for the translations).
There seems to be a really really really tiny bit of a delay between importing translations and calculating karma points as Mr.Stafford suggested.😂
