USB HP printer not recognized in setup
After a year or more of reliable service my HP 1018 laserjet does not connect to, or gets recognized by the HP-setup program.
From terminal:

Other possible conflict:
Lirc daemon is running: I have a TV card installed and running that has built in remote control--I have been fiddling with lirc trying to connect to card w/o success.
