HP All-in-one Printer Setup

After an initial, successful wireless setup between my notebook machine running Ubuntu on top / dual booted with Windows NTFS, the HPLIP setup utility now fails to recognize the HP all-in-one printer on the network. Setup also fails when the printer is connected to the machine via USB.
